A Great Blade For Custom Racket Newcomers!
by Edmond
Hey everyone, when I started using custom rackets, this was the blade I bought. There wasn't any reviews for it when I got it but I'm here to make one for those who are interested in this blade.
When I started, I had Rozena on both sides. Once I got to know more about what style I wanted, I swapped to the Hurricane III + Tenergy 19 combo on a Petr Korbel blade. I'm not sure if I was still adjusting to the rubbers, but the Petr Korbel for me just felt a little slower than I thought. Eventually, I used this rubber combo back on my XStar V and it felt amazing. I feel like this blade can go with many different kinds of rubber combos, and it's a solid choice to get if you're on a bit of a budget and aren't sure what blade to choose.
I use a Hurricane King WCQ now, but I still use the XStar V as my ol' reliable practice/backup/testing racket. If you're just getting into racket building and are wondering if you should get this blade or not, you 100% should. I love this thing.
