Nakama P-7 Penhold Racket (JP)
Great First Racket For Japanese Penhold Style Of Play
Butterfly Nakama P7 Japanese Penhold Table Tennis Racket - Great First Racket For Japanese Penhold Style Of Play - Nakama Series - Includes 2 40+ Balls - Recommended For Beginning Level Players
The Butterfly Nakama P7 Japanese Penhold Table Tennis Racket is constructed of 5 layers of wood. The all-wood composition of this table tennis blade offers a softer feel at impact as it will flex slightly and 'hold' the ball a bit longer than blades made with a reinforcing material such as carbon fiber. Wakaba offers moderate speed and spin which is ideal for intermediate level play. Not too fast, not too slow…just right. For a high control rubber, Wakaba offers excellent spin. The backside of the blade is painted black as traditional Japanese penhold rackets are constructed with rubber on only one side of the blade surface. Both forehand and backhand shots are executed using the same side of the paddle.
- Blade Construction: 5-Ply Wood
- Handle: Japanese Penhold - Cork Mounted On Top Of Handle & Back Of Blade For Comfort
- Rubber: Wakaba | Sponge Thickness (mm): 1.9
- Comes with two 40+ (poly) balls
- International Table Tennis Federation Approved
PLEASE NOTE: Like most recreational rackets, this racket is assembled with a glue that is intended to keep the rubber permanently attached to the wood for the life of the racket. If you prefer to have the ability to upgrade the rubber when it becomes worn, please check out our Pro-Line Series.
