Sriver EL
Details
Butterfly Sriver EL rubber has long been a mainstay with players around the world. Since its inception over 40 years ago, Sriver has proven itself at every level of competition. Perfect for the allround attacker, Sriver EL has a harder rubber top sheet, making it capable of good spin while still maintaining control. Also, the medium sponge lends itself to controlled attacks and blocks, yet it is a good balance of the power of original Sriver and the touch of Sriver FX. For allround players, developing attackers, and those seeking a good balanced rubber, you can't get any better than Butterfly Sriver EL!

Sriver EL 1.9mm on my forearm side
by Aharon S. -
I originally used Super Sriver in the late 1970's and when I started playing again in 1999 after not playing for 20 years, Butterfly had introduced many varieties of Sriver rubber. I chose Sriver EL for added control as I block up at the table and my game is based on control and touch. I have the "old fashioned" big windmill forearm, so I do not need extra speed or spin from the rubber - I need more control - which is why I only use 1.9mm sponge. For anyone who is struggling with control and touch, perhaps try Sriver EL as it gives a great deal of control without really lessening the spin or speed. Especially as we get older (I am 60) and our reflexes slow, we need the extra control. I find the bounce to very true and I change the rubber about every 3 months or after playing about 100 hours. This is a high quality rubber at a very reasonable price.
